Short biography

YAGODY is a Ukrainian theater and music group. Participants of the National selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Brief biography

The group YAGODY appeared in Lviv in June 2016. The initiator of the creation was actress Zoryana Dybovska, who at that time was a teacher of stage language at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Dybovska's students became members of the group.

The first performance of the group took place the same year at the Publishers' Forum in Lviv.

In 2020, the band's debut album called "Berries" was presented, which included 10 songs. In particular, the Bulgarian folk song "Ergen Deda", the Ukrainian folk song "Yablynko" and the Lemkovsk song "Ked yem ishov prez that lis".

The band performs in the genre of "ethno-drama" with elements of theatrical performance.

In 2024 the band is a participant of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024 with the song "Tsunamia".

Group composition

Zoryana Dybovska - vocals, percussion instruments;

Sofia Lesyshak - vocals, djembe;

Tatiana Voytiv - vocals, djembe and Tibetan bowl;

Nadezhda Parashchuk - accordion.

Other musicians also work with the group.
