Pavel Petrichenko
Pavlo Petrichenko - Ukrainian public activist, soldier of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, participant of the Russian-Ukrainian war. He died at the front on April 15, 2024.
Brief biography
Pavel Petrichenko was born on April 16, 1992.
In civilian life, Petrichenko was a project manager and an active participant in public initiatives. In particular, he participated in Euromaidan, as well as in the actions of the initiative "Who ordered Katya Gandzyuk", as well as in support of the activist Serhiy Sternenko.
At one time he was also an employee of the Serhiy Pritula Foundation.
Full-scale war
Petrichenko joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2022, where he took up aerial reconnaissance. Since then, he was constantly at the front.
Doom
On April 15, 2024, it became known that Petrichenko died during a combat mission in the Donetsk region. The next day he was to have turned 32 years old.
Petition to restrict the work of online casinos
Petrichenko was the author of a petition to ban access to online casinos for military personnel during martial law, and to ban pawn shops from accepting drones, thermal imagers and other dual-use goods.
The petition garnered the necessary 25,000 votes in less than 24 hours.
Awards
Pavel Petrichenko was awarded the Commander-in-Chief's Gold Cross in 2023.
