Yana Klochkova

Yana Aleksandrovna K lochkova Ukr. Yana Oleksandrivna Klochkova (born August 7, 1982, Simferopol, Soviet Union) - a Ukrainian swimmer who has won five Olympic medals, including four gold medals. She participated in three Summer Olympics: 2000, 2004, 2008 (she did not take part in the last one).
She was born on August 7, 1982, in Simferopol.

On 24 March 2009 in the "Aquarena" Olympic swimming pool on Klotchkovskaya Street in Kharkiv, during the first stage of the Ukrainian Swimming Cup, when the stands were completely full, the official "parting with the water" of Yana Klochkova and Denis Silantiev took place. At first, on the screen there were shown pictures of the champions' careers, swims, awards ceremonies and life moments. Then officials (mayor Mikhail Dobkin, vice-governor Sergei Storozhenko, head of Ukrainian Swimming Federation Oleg Demin, two-time Olympic champion volleyball player Yuri Poyarkov, and many others) told about the swimmers. Then the flowers and gifts from all comers were presented. In particular, Klochkova was presented with a live goldfish, and Storozhenko with a statue of the goddess Nike, a symbol of victory.

During the Sydney Olympics she holds the world record in 400m medley and European record in 200m medley.
