Vyacheslav Butusov

Vyacheslav Gennadyevich Butusov was born on October 15, 1961 in Bugach settlement, Krasnoyarsk region. Because of his father's profession, the family often moved from place to place, so until the 9th grade Vyacheslav studied and lived in various Siberian cities. In the 9th grade he moved to Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg), where he soon entered the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute. In his first year Butusov meets Dmitry Umetsky. Both, seriously passionate about music, repeatedly gathered and played together. This, closer to graduation, leads to the recording of his first, not very successful album "Moving". In the same year Butusov meets Ilya Kormiltsev. With him he records his first adult album "Invisible" in 1985. In the following 1986 their tandem recorded the record "Separation", which began the popularity of "Nautilus Pompilius". The group existed for about 10 more years.
