Oksana Olehovna Karavanskaya is a Ukrainian fashion designer.
Brief biography
Oksana Karavanska was born on April 16, 1966 in Lviv.
She received higher education in Lviv Academy of Arts.
In 1996 Karavanska became a finalist of the Alta-Moda contest, the jury of which was headed by Pierre Cardin.
A year later she opened the first author's boutique in Ukraine, naming it after herself. Now her boutiques and ateliers work in Lviv, Kiev and Odessa. Karavanskaya has a branded showroom in New York.
In 1999 she debuted in Ukrainian prêt-a-porter week, presenting Vade mecum collection.
In 2001 she was recognized as the "Best Stylist of the Year" in the field of clipmaking, and in 2002 she received the Grand Prix "Crystal Silhouette" for the best dress of the year.
She was the author of the haute couture collection for the closing of the semi-final and final of Eurovision 2005.
She is the author of the idea of the Fashion Theater in Lviv, which subsequently toured Ukraine and beyond.
Under the brand "Karavanskaya" produces women's clothing and accessories to them, as well as author's perfume.
In 2015, Karavanska's book "Stilna book for panyanka" was given away.
Family
Karavanskaya is married to businessman Bogdan Levchuk. The couple is raising two children - Svyatoslav and Marichka.
