Kateryna Pavlenko
Kateryna Pavlenko is a Ukrainian singer, folklorist, composer, soloist of the band Go_A.
Brief biography
Katya was born on August 10, 1988 in Nizhyn.
During her school years she studied at Nizhyn music school at the vocal and choir department. She studied on the instruments - piano and guitar.
While studying at the Nizhyn School of Culture and Arts named after Maria Zankovetska was a member of several local rock bands: "Contours of Shadows" and "My spirit".
In 2012 she joined the band Go_A. At first she performed as a backing vocalist, but eventually became a soloist. As part of the group Go_A gave out 1 studio album "Іди на звук" and several compositions.
Since 2017, Pavlenko is the head of the veterans choir in Berezan (Kyiv region) at the city house of culture. Under her leadership, the choir received the title of folk.
Pavlenko writes poems and solo songs, which she gives out under the pseudonym Monokate.
Eurovision-2021
At the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, Ekaterina together with the group Go_A took second place. This contributed to the emergence of considerable interest to the group both in Ukraine and in the world.
