Artem Dmytruk is a People's Deputy of Ukraine.
Brief biography of Artem Dmytruk
Artem Dmytruk was born in Vinnichyna, in the town of Kozyatin, on June 28, 1993.
Since the age of 13 Dmytruk lives in Odessa. There he owns sports clubs: Barbell gym and Barbell baza.
He is a master of sports in powerlifting, multiple champion and record holder of Ukraine, multiple champion and prize-winner of boxing, sambo and pankration tournaments, champion of Ukraine in Crossfit, prize-winner of Ukrainian Crosslifting Championship.
Before he started professional sports, Dmytruk worked as a loader, security guard and private entrepreneur.
In the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which were held in 2019, Artem Dmytruk ran for people's deputies on the lists of the party "Servant of the People" and successfully passed into the Ukrainian parliament.
Exclusion from the faction
On November 15, 2021, it became known that at the meeting of the faction of the party "Servant of the People" decided to exclude Dmytruk from the ranks of the faction. The reasons for this decision were not reported, but it is known that Dmytruk is on the list of people's deputies of the inter-factional association "Reasonable policy", which was created by the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov.
What Artem Dmytruk is known for
Despite the sensational trainings for deputies of the party "Servants of the People", which were held in Truskavets, already at the first meetings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation, Artem Dmytruk became famous for several odious antics.
He forgot the name of the prime minister
Soon after the Verkhovna Rada appointed Oleksiy Honcharuk as the Prime Minister of Ukraine, journalists asked Artem Dmytruk if he knew who became the new Ukrainian Prime Minister.
The MP could not answer and tried to get rid of the press with comments in the style of "you know yourself", "we talked to him in Truskavets", "he is a good specialist".
Interfered with the speech of MP Syumar
During the speech of the people's Deputy from "European Solidarity" Victoria Syumar, Artem Dmytruk closed her in front of the camera. And when Syumar, without interrupting the speech, pointed this out, Dmytruk reacted to the remark by raising his hand with an approving gesture.
Wore a Russian chevron
Shortly after the scandal with MP Syumar, in the social network Facebook surfaced a photo in which Artem Dmytruk is dressed in a tracksuit with a chevron on which depicts the tricolor of the Russian Federation.
And although it is impossible to find out in what year the photo was taken, a loud scandal nevertheless broke out in the network.

The deputy is married. The wife of Artem Dmitruk is Anastasia.
