Oleksandr Iosifovich Zlotnik is a composer, People's Artist of Ukraine, rector of the Kyiv Municipal Glier Academy of Music (since 2009).
Brief biography
Alexander Zlotnik was born on November 15, 1948 in Tarashcha, Kyiv region.
He studied at the musical boarding school named after Lysenko in Kiev, where he was a student. Lysenko in Kiev, where he met Vladimir Ivasyuk, who later became his collaborator.
He also studied at the Kiev State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Odessa State Conservatory. Tchaikovsky and Odessa State Conservatory named after Nezhdanova. Nezhdanova.
Zlotnik is a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine, as well as the president of the Slavonic Bazaar International Festival in Kiev.

Zlotnik's songs were performed by Nazary Yaremchuk, Vasyl Zinkevich, Oksana Bilozir, Ivo Bobul, Svitlana and Vitaliy Belonozhko, Alla Kudlai, Pavel Zibrov, Kateryna Buzhinskaya and others, among others.
