In 2014 and 2019 she tried to get to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine through self-nomination in the majoritarian district 193. Both times she lost the election.

Scandals

Kokhanovskaya became famous as a "devoted believer" when she rushed to defend the "right" of the UOC MP to remain in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

As the media learned, she is a well-known church provocateur who, under the guise of a human rights activist, slanders UOC-MP believers and "spams" law enforcement officers with baseless statements about alleged "infringement of the rights" of the Moscow church.

Kokhanovska previously arranged church provocations in Volyn, and was also involved in the dissemination of fakes about the alleged support of the UOC MP.

In September 2022 the activist registered a public organization "Women's Power of Ukraine" to support the MP. The name of this organization suspiciously resembles the name of an authoritative social movement.

Members of the Kohanov organization are regularly involved in creating conflict situations around the religious buildings of the PCU, openly expressing aggressive feelings of hostility, hatred towards people on the basis of their religious beliefs.
