Oleksiy Chernyshov

Oleksiy Chernyshov is the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine. He is the former head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and former Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

Oleksiy Chernyshov was born in Kharkiv, September 4, 1977.

He received two higher educations there, in the same place of birth - in the field of economics and law. Back in his student days he started his labor career in an IT-firm, the task of which was to develop and create software for the telecommunications business.

Soon after completing his studies, in the 2000s Chernyshev started working for the AVEC concern. There, he quickly worked his way up the career ladder to the position of vice president and soon to the position of president of AVEK. From 2008 to 2013, Chernyshev chaired the supervisory board of the aforementioned concern.

And since 2012, Chernyshev has been closely involved in the investment business.

The official is married. The couple has two children.

In the declaration of Oleksiy Chernyshov indicated an apartment in Kiev, acquired in 2013, the area of which is more than 200 square meters. Also, the head of the KOGA has the rights to a land plot of almost one and a half thousand square meters in Obukhiv district, on which a house of three hundred and thirty square meters is located.

The wife of the newly minted governor of Kyiv region has the rights to an apartment of 45 square meters in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In addition, Oleksiy Chernyshov owns several cars: Range Rover Autobiography and Mercedes-Benz S500. His wife, in turn, owns a Skoda Octavia A5 and a Range Rover.

Among other things, Alexey Chernyshov is also the ultimate beneficiary of eight companies, five of which are officially registered in other countries.

For 2018 Oleksiy Chernyshov, according to his declaration, received more than two million hryvnias of income from his foreign firms. In addition, thanks to the alienation of securities, as well as corporate rights, Chernyshev received almost twenty-five million. In his bank accounts, he keeps about two hundred thousand hryvnias, as well as a little over a thousand dollars and 60 thousand euros. In addition, he declared 750 thousand dollars in cash.

In March 2020, there was information that Oleksiy Chernyshov may take the post of head of the Ministry of Development of communities and territories of Ukraine. And on March 4, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada voted for the candidacy of Oleksiy Chernyshov for the post of Minister of Development of communities and territories of Ukraine.
