Brief biography

Melania Trump (maiden name Knavs) was born on April 26, 1970 in Sevnica, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia).

In 1985, Melania entered the University of Ljubljana at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. Studying at the university, she left after just one year. Despite this, in her official biography it was noted that she finished her studies at the university.

True data appeared only after an investigation by New York Magazine. As a consequence - from the official biography of Melania Trump disappeared information about the graduation from the university.

Already in 1986, Melania began her career as a model. Participated in shows in Milan and Paris. Subsequently worked as a photomodel for erotic magazines.

In 1996, Melania moved to the United States, and two years later during a party dedicated to Fashion Week in New York, met Donald Trump. Melania went on to become a professional model and her relationship with Trump grew to the point where he called her the love of his life during The Howard Stern Show radio show.

This only increased the public's interest in Melania and influenced the contracts she began to be offered. Thus, in January 2000, her photo appeared on the cover of GQ magazine, for which it posed in the style of "nude". In the future, Melania starred for the covers of publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, New York Magazine, Allure, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and others.

Marriage to Trump

After several years of relationship, Melania and Donald Trump announced their engagement and got married in January 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida. Interestingly, Hillary Clinton also attended that wedding as a guest.

Melania was wearing a $200,000 Christian Dior dress during the wedding.

Divorce rumors

After Trump's defeat in the November 2020 election, the media started rumors about Melania's intention to break up with Trump. During Trump's presidency, the media has repeatedly noticed that the relationship between the couple has cooled down and Melania often tries to stand apart from Trump. However, according to the media, a divorce from Trump may only happen after he officially leaves the presidency.

Melania has an older sister Inez. She, like their parents, resides in the United States.

Melania and Donald Trump share a son, Barron, who was born in 2006. She is also the stepmother of Trump's four children from his first two marriages.
