Dmytro Anatolievych Y arosh is one of the founders of the Right Sector, a veteran of the war in the Donbass, commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army.

Brief biography

Dmytro Yarosh was born in Kamenskoye in Dnepropetrovsk region, September 30, 1971.

In 1989 he joined the Ukrainian Helsinki Group and the People's Rukh of Ukraine.

In 1994, Dmytro Yarosh became one of the founders of the Trident movement named after S. Bandera. S. Bandera.

Dmytro Yarosh received his higher education at the Franko Pedagogical University in Drohobych, where he graduated in 2001.

From 2007 to 2013 Dmytro Yarosh was the head of the Central Wire of "Trident".

During the Revolution of Dignity Dmytro Yarosh was the creator of the united nationalist opposition, called "Right Sector". He also headed the Right Sector. At that time Dmytro Yarosh also assisted in the formation of the Maidan Self-Defense.

In March 2014, the Right Sector became a political party, the leader of which was elected Dmitry Yarosh.

Dmytro Yarosh participated in the extraordinary presidential election of 2014, but eventually won less than one percent of the total number of votes, taking eleventh place.

But in the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Yarosh won a confident victory in his district and became a non-factional people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada.

After the annexation of Crimea and Russia's invasion of Donbass, Dmytro Yarosh started creating volunteer units for the war in Donbass. Among other things, he created the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps (DUK PS) on the basis of the Right Sector power bloc.

Dmytro Yarosh himself has been fighting on the Donbass front for a long time, mainly based on the front line in the village of Peski, for which there was fierce fighting for a long time.

In 2015, Dmitry Yarosh was wounded during the shelling by Russian "Grads". Russian media immediately spread a rumor that Dmitri Yarosh was killed, but this fake was soon debunked.

In November 2015 Dmitry Yarosh refused to lead and left the ranks of the Right Sector and soon announced the creation of a new political force: "Derzhavnitsyka Initiative Yarosh".

In 2019, it became known that Dmitry Yarosh will participate in the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the united nationalist political force formed on the basis of the " Freedom".

Appointment

In November 2021, it became known that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny appointed Yarosh as his advisor.
