Today Ross from the famous TV series "Friends," that is, actor and director David Schwimmer, turns 44 years old.

David Lawrence Schwimmer was born in New York City to lawyers Arthur Schwimmer and Arlene Coleman. The family later moved to Los Angeles.

As a child, David was quite complexed child - the fact that he suffered from excess weight. However, despite the complexes, he took a great interest in the theater, and once even played a fairy in the play "Cinderella". Ross Geller, by the way, didn't just appear in Friends. He "glimpsed" in the TV series "Lonely Boy", which ran from 1995 to 1997.
