Chazz Witherspoon is an American boxer.
Brief biography of Chazz Witherspoon
Chazz Witherspoon was born in Pennsylvania, in the United States of America , on September 16, 1981.
His boxing career Witherspoon began while still in college - then he took up amateur boxing and just one year later won the tournament in his native state "Golden Gloves". Less than six months later, he won again, this time in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament - qualified for the U.S. Championships and was named Most Outstanding Boxer of the Year.
In 2004, he fought at the U.S. Championships, where he reached the second place.
In the same year, 2004, Chazz Witherspoon took part in the Athens Olympics, but he was on the bench for all the games, after which he returned to American fights and won the Golden Gloves tournament for the second time.
Ultimately, Chazz Witherspoon fought 32 fights during his amateur career. Of those, 26 fights ended in his victory.
