Boryslav Bereza

Boryslav Yukhimovich Bereza is a People's Deputy of Ukraine.

Brief biography

Boryslav Bereza was born in Kiev on June 13, 1977.

He received a higher education at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics.

In the 90s he was engaged in publishing and selling books, having founded his own literary agency. He also worked as an announcer at the radio station "Just Radio", where he led the author's project "Full paragraph with Boryslav Bereza", and as a TV presenter at the First National (program "Book UA").

He took part in the Revolution of Dignity. In 2014, from February until December, he acted as the official speaker of the Right Sector.

In 2014, he was elected People's Deputy of Ukraine. He was one of the founders of the Ukrop parliamentary association .

In 2015, he ran for mayor of Kiev and made it to the second round, but eventually lost to Vitali Klitschk.

Boryslav Bereza is a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Bereza gained the greatest popularity in the network and in society thanks to the colorful scandals with Kremlin journalists in the walls of the Assembly.

He repeatedly mocked the scandalous propagandist Olga Skabeeva, criticized the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin in live broadcasts on Russian TV channels, and directly accused Russia of attacking Ukraine and annexing Crimea. He mocked threats the deputy received from the leader of the Chechen Republic, the odious Ramzan Kadyrov. He accepted a challenge to a duel from Igor Morozov, a senator from the Russian Ryazan region, and when the latter did not show up for the duel, Bereza did not fail to criticize and mock him.

Personal life

Borislav Bereza is married. His wife is Natalia Bereza (Dobroded). The couple brings up a son and a daughter.
