Anya Taylor-Joy was born on April 16, 1996 in Miami, United States. Her father is of Scottish-Argentine descent and her mother is of Spanish-English descent.
Anya is the youngest of six children in the family.
As a child, she lived in Argentina and then moved to London, the capital of England. Until she was six years old, she spoke Spanish and only after the move began to learn English.
