AndriyPavlovich Ray kovych is a Ukrainian politician, mayor of Kropivnitsky.

Brief biography

Andrii Raikovych was born on April 7, 1956 in Tallinn, Estonia.

He received his higher education at Kirovograd Institute of Agricultural Machine Building. At first he specialized as an electrical engineer, and later as an economist.

He worked as an electrician at the combine "Stroyindustriya" of Kirovograd oblmezhkolgospbud.

From 1977 to 1979 he served in the Soviet army.

In 1979 he became a senior power engineer at Dolinsk poultry processing plant. He worked in this position until 1985.

From 1985 to 1986 he was an instructor of the Dolinsk District Committee of the Communist Party.

In 1986-1988 he headed the Dolinsk Bread Products Combine.

From 1988 to 1990 he headed Dolinsk poultry processing plant.

For the next 16 years he worked at Kirovograd Poultry Factory. He held the positions of Director, Chairman of the Management Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the plant.

In 2006 he started working at JSC Meat Processing Plant Yatran. He held the positions of Chairman of the Supervisory Board and later General Director of the plant. He resigned in 2015.


Raikovich was a deputy of the Kirovograd regional Council.

Since November 2015, he was elected mayor of Kropivnitsky. Re-elected to the post in the local elections of 2020.
