Andriy Voronin is a Ukrainian soccer player, coach of the Ukrainian national soccer team.

Brief biography

Andriy Voronin was born in Odessa July 21, 1979.

He played in the school of FC Chernomorets (Odessa).

In 1995 he moved to Germany, where he accepted the offer of the soccer club Borussia Mönchengladbach. He played his first Bundesliga game against Bayern (Munich). Later he moved to Mainz FC, playing for which he was named top scorer of the season.

In 2002, he accepted the invitation to play for the Ukrainian national soccer team. He left the team only after the Euro 2012.

Season 2003-2004, he already played for the team "Cologne".

From 2007 to 2009, he played for the London "Liverpool", at the same time, he played a year on loan in the German club "Bertha".

In 2010, for two million euros he moved to FC Dynamo (Moscow), where he played until 2014. Dinamo Moscow became the last team in the sporting career of Andrei Voronin as a player.

In 2017 he signed a contract as a coach with German "Büderich". A season later, he took the position of selective coach in the Ukrainian national team.
