AminaViktorovna Okuyeva is a Ukrainian doctor, participant of the Revolution of Dignity, volunteer veteran of the ATO.

Biography of Amina Okuyeva

Amina Ok ueva - at birth Natalia Viktorovna Nikiforova - was born in Odessa, June 5, 1983.

Later, together with her family moved first to Moscow, and later to Grozny.

From 1999 until 2003, Amina Okuyeva participated in the Second Chechen War, fighting on the side of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria against the Russian Federation. During the war, she converted to Islam in 2000.

In 2003, Okuyeva returned to Ukraine, where she enrolled at the Medical University of Odessa. After successfully graduating, she worked as a medical intern for a long time.

When Euromaidan began, which smoothly turned into the Revolution of Dignity, Amina Okuyeva took an active part in it. She joined the Maidan Self-Defense Forces, the Eighth Afghan Self-Defense Hundred, where she was a medic.

Soon after the annexation of Crimea and Russia's invasion of Donbass, Amina Okuyeva joined the volunteer battalion Kiev-2. She fought in the battles for Debaltsevo and Chornukhino.

Later, Amina Okuyeva joined the Golden Gate Battalion .

Amina Okuyeva actively participated in the creation of a unit called the International Peacekeeping Battalion named after Dzhokhar Dudayev. She held the position of press officer of the battalion and succeeded in getting the battalion the status of an official unit.

Family of Amina Okuyeva

Amina Okuyeva was married twice. The first time she married Isa Mustafinov. Amina Okuyeva's second husband, Islam Tukhashev (Okuyev), was deported from Ukraine for violating the regime for foreigners and later arrested in Russia, where he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

In 2009, Amina Okuyeva met Adam Osmayev, but Okuyeva was not officially married to him.

Amina Okuyeva has a son born in 2002.

Attempted assassination of Amina Okuyeva

On June 1, 2017, Amina Okuyeva and Adam Osmayev were attempted to be killed by a hired killer disguised as a journalist. He managed to make a successful assassination attempt on Adam Osmayev, seriously wounding him. However, Amina was able not only to survive, but shot the assassin four times, thanks to which the police detained him.

Amina Okuyeva's death

Amina Okuyeva died on October 30, 2017. The car in which Amina Okuyeva and Adam Osmayev were traveling was shot at a railroad crossing near the village of Glevakha, in the Kiev region.

Amina Okuyeva's funeral was held in Dnipro, November 1, 2017. Amina Okuyeva was buried next to the grave of Isa Munayev.
